THE CLIMB

The historic Trsat stairs are not just transport. They create a physical break between the port city below and the hilltop district above.

THE CASTLE

Trsat Castle stands 138 metres above sea level and is one of the oldest fortifications on the Croatian coast. Today it also hosts exhibitions and open-air programmes.

THE EVENING

In summer, the castle and Nugent Park become stages. Arrive before the programme and give the view time before the lights come on.
